PL8S is a marketplace that gives those cooks a storefront. Independent chefs — home cooks with permits, caterers, pop-ups — post limited-quantity meal drops, and neighbors reserve a plate before a single pan hits the stove. Chefs cook exactly what's sold. Nothing wasted, no storefront rent, no middleman deciding what their food is worth.
We're starting in California, where new home-kitchen laws are opening the door for a generation of food entrepreneurs — many of them immigrants, parents, and first-time business owners whose cooking has always been extraordinary, just never for sale. PL8S exists so their neighborhoods finally get a seat at their table.
